MY JOURNEY

August 14, 2013, When the country celebrated Idul Fitri for Muslims in Indonesia. Usually there is a long holiday in all agencies and public offices or factories in predominantly Muslim Indonesia.

In the area where I live is already visible light with the passing neighbors to return home to their place of origin. Quiet atmosphere reminds me as a child when Idul Fitri got a lot of the people providing cookies in a jar and I love to visit and bring their pastries that have been provided and I save it in a shirt pocket.

In my husband's family always celebrate Idul Fitri to gather together to apologize for the mistakes that have been passed each other, including the nearest neighbor. This atmosphere is to bring emotion and happy at the moment we are busy with the daily routine and rarely meet with distant relatives, at this moment we are united in the holy day of Idul Fitri. Idul Fitri falls on 8-9 August 2013 for two days.

During the long vacation my husband and I spent a lot of time hunting photos including this Papuma beach photo. I left home at 4:00 am in the morning, because I really like the air in the morning and there was a sense of spirit to inspire new thinking.

I plan to stay for two days to capture a photo at the beach this Papuma. Clothing and camera equipment as well as small meals I've prepared the evening.

In the chilly air travel in the body and started tickling feeling hungry for food. I keep it in a box of food to keep the temperature cooler temperatures to keep food fresh. By enjoying the music in the car I pull over a car for a while it's time to prepare breakfast around 8:00 am.

After breakfast, I continue the journey to their destination at around 11:00 am before noon. The atmosphere there (Papuma Beach) very crowded and admission tickets per person 15,000 rupiah or 1.5 dollars. The weather was very hot on the beach until it difficult to open the eyes wide as dazzled by the sun.

There is a sense of disappointment got there because there was no sense of concern for newcomers in the trash, every visitor a lot to bring food and nothing to buy on the spot. I see a lot of visitors come with family while eating with roll mat and casually throwing food wrappers.

None of the trash or garbage box provided by the local government in the sights, but that does not mean visitors casually throw trash. At a minimum they bring their own plastic bags for their own trash.

I tried looking for a somewhat clean so comfortable to rest and take photos, but because it's so crowded and there is not one single place looks deserted all the place is full of people and their own food. Very annoying and disgusting. So finally I decided not to stay.

I do not understand where a nation's sense of belonging to the homeland to maintain the beauty and cleanliness of the beach wrought like this. Beach of white sand and blue sea water is so enchanting the eye can see, but a lot of the hands of rogue who does not care that make this beach looks shabby and dirty.

If we can not keep our treasure how we can protect the treasure and the nation state. I think the point just said "Pain Care" that's more than enough as a civilized human being and not a human being is primitive.

Hour show at 10:00 am, I was rushing to go to shopping head unit double din car audio, car audio because it was too old and needed to be upgraded.

As usual camera gear I carry but this time I just brought Smartphone tablet Samsung Galaxy note 8.0, because if there is free time I always took time to take photos. And here's the photos from the camera of Samsung Galaxy note 8.0 with shooting mode panorama and 5 Mega Pixel on back camera only and then 1,5 front camera.

It was Sunday and I've got an appointment with the owner of the car audio store, with relatively low prices are important voice really is not destroyed.

It's known budget is not much, so I must be good at managing money.

Up in the store was still closed, I tried to call the owner of the store he opened at 12:00 pm. I was forced to wait one hour. Because I got there around 11:00 am.

Waiting time at the store owner arrived and I immediately came to him. Little questioning, he finally decided to work on Monday because all employees can shop holiday Sunday.

Granted I was there on Sunday only for consultation regarding car audio. No sooner had we finished talking about car audio, I will rush to the car to continue the journey. Because a long time, I was looking for a time to the nearest location.

Surabaya Zoo that is the target location which I am going. Heard the news story circulating this location has been criticized for the poor against the government, because the government does not much care about the wildlife animals, which is in the zoo.

Admission at the zoo only 15,000 rupiah (1.50 dollars) per person. Not a lot of significant changes in the zoo as a child I used to come to this place. I could see a lot of wildlife animals in cages whose fate is very sad and even many of the animals are starving so that it takes the form of waste plastic.The news story was true.

Common animals that eat garbage and cause choking in the throat in the end had to die. Them in brackets with little food without proper treatment. The workers at the zoo was not much help because of financial terms, and the government does not want to care about so many animals who are victims of human savagery.

Is not it more perfect human way of thinking, but what happened to the selfishness and greed of humans, other creatures such as animals make a sacrifice. Where's your conscience.

Not many places in my town to stay as beautiful and fresh green foliage like in this photo. Still very early time when I accidentally find a location with lots of trees and water because these two elements are very fresh and beautiful take a photo.

This photo was taken a day off in Sidoarjo East Java location. I purposely look for a place that is still sparsely populated and relatively clean and natural. There are only a few visitors who love the hobby of fishing in that place, the atmosphere is very calm and felt peaceful at all but there are drawbacks though the weather was very hot still morning. uhhhhh!!!!!!!!

I see many locals staying at a location near the fishing, in say their lives under the poverty line and very alarming to see the house where they lived with his wife and children. Many puddles that still go inside their homes as overnight heavy rain, especially the condition of the building walls made of woven bamboo and dirt floors without floor tiles.

In front of the terrace houses there is usually a long bench made of bamboo to sit or just rest it was already rotting and stagnant rain water with their children playing in the rain puddles that go into their homes. I was thinking how can a land that is so beautiful but the dawn and the population is very sad life. But its a life nobody knows about the next future.

Most local people's lives as fishermen and gardening. Although they work in the morning until late in the morning again do not change their lives better and more humane. Because of Indonesia's population is very low income and it does not make sense for daily needs is increasing, while revenue never increased.

Life is more severe and disproportionate to what is issued. Only false hope and slogans are revolting always touted by the government. Not many people expect what the government had promised as much unrealized promise.

Sunday morning in this photo taken in October 2012 in the city of Surabaya exactly in the Heroes Monument is where the start and finish commencement funbike or cycling to celebrate the birthday of East Java 67th year. This photo was taken by my husband because if you use a tripod where highly unlikely because of the many participants spilling into several highways.

With Held cycling or Funbike many people who want to participate in the anniversary enliven East Java province to the 67th this year. Participants ranging from children to adults from across the province of East Java to the outer islands. Various models of bikes ranging from old-fashioned model of bike to bike model output for even bike hand made models.

Me and my husband did not want to miss this moment because in addition to want to know also the atmosphere in the city of Surabaya. Type of bike that I use Tandom models (double scull). Starting the night I was preparing the equipment needed is not another camera.

At 4:00 am in the morning I and my husband had already left because the distance between the home and destination about 15 km for the prescribed schedule beginning at 6:00 am start time. To place a lot of goals are more or less involved thousands of participants with an assortment of gifts, as well as stage entertainment with local artists singers.

The route taken by approximately 20-25 km around the city just around Surabaya alone.

Sunday, in March 2013, there are plans for hunting because there are other plans my husband had to meet a client to complete a project. Around 9:30 am my husband and I set out from home. Although there are no plans for hunting but I still carry a camera and a tripod wherever I go.

The weather at that time looks very beautiful with white clouds scattered over a clean blue sky like a lump of snow in the sky. By driving a car I always play the radio to listen to music or just heard the news about road traffic congestion can find if there is an alternative path. Long story short after all we also finished behind the husband's affairs towards home.

Along the way I look every building objects and scenery, if there is an object that is unique and interesting with a very minimal support is not too crowded with the presence of another object.

This photo I took at the location the western city of Surabaya in East Java. Why am I interested in the landscape because of the time across the site contours of the land for the highway position slightly below while the position of the buildings located on higher ground contours as if the building emerged from the earth.

This building apartment building called Water Place with 6 towers and each tower height varies between 122-154 meters and consists of 30-38 floors depending on each tower.

I stopped the car frame on the right down the highway to take photographs. Once everything is finished I rushed home because the air was starting to feel a little cold and there was little raindrops, I saw from the rearview mirror car is really black clouds started covering the white clouds soon rain will sign.
